Here at ERUK we like to keep all our drivers up to date on new legislation and also changes to current legislation. On this page you will find articles we think may be of interest to you, the HGV driver, whether it be changes in “Driver Hour Rules” or “Safe Loading Tips”. Driver CPC - 2pm 20/09/2011
Employ Recruitment are pleased to announce that we can now offer Driver CPC Training to our drivers.
As of 10th September 2009 the law requires all driving licence holders entitled to drive a vehicle over 3.5 tonne, that wish to drive professionally must undergo periods of training. To comply with the legislation all existing licence holders must undertake 35 hours of training within a 5 year period to acquire a Driver Qualification Card. To continue driving as of September 2014 you must hold a Qualification Card.
