We are pleased to announce that our managing director, Sadie Weston has been shortlisted for the category “Recruitment Leader of the Year” by the Recruiter Awards. Established in 2002, the Recruiter Awards gala is the largest event for the entire recruitment community judging applicants on effectiveness, quality of service and innovation.
Sadie, who is the managing director of recruitment agency Employ Recruitment; recruitment software Driver Recruitment Software; logistics training provider Employ Driver Training and holds a non-exec role for logistics company Win Logistics, was nominated by her team for her dedication to the industry. Founding Employ Recruitment in 2004, Sadie has built the company through hard work and inspiring management skills to make the company what it is today. Compliance is a core value for Sadie, and this is reflected in everything the business does from HR to driver compliance. Over the past four years, she has worked with developers to help create the most compliant recruitment software in the current market to further improve compliance management within the industry. Sadie also works with logistics professionals to provide quality Jaupt-approved driver and transport manager CPC training via both virtual and in-person classes. Not one to rest, Sadie is using her expertise in her newly joined role with Win Logistics, who deliver an end-to-end logistics service.
In 2016, Sadie purchased the software to use internally within Employ Recruitment to automate and improve processes for bookings, client management, candidate management and automate compliance with 100% accuracy. Sadie explains, “It reduced my work from 60 hours a week to 3 days a week, it cut my staffing bill by a third and all of the worry and endless manual checks I had around compliance went overnight. Not one to rest, I tested the system using several scenarios repeatedly and invested £100,000 into the system. My staff are no longer working overtime and the team have a healthy work-life balance, which can be difficult within the industry. When the opportunity arose to become the owner of the software I didn’t hesitate. I have compared all CRM products on the market, and none are 100% compliant. I am now the proud owner of the most compliant driver recruitment software in the UK: Driver Recruitment Software.”

The winners of the Recruiter Awards will be announced on Thursday 24th September 2020 at an event in London, where the Employ team will be joining Sadie to enjoy a celebratory evening.
