We provide the majority of our drivers with regular work: 10% of Employ Recruitment’s drivers become permanent employees at their client of choice and 60% of our driver team are on fixed weekly bookings. We help drivers manage their training needs through our own JAUPT approved quality training to keep all our drivers up to date and compliant.

One of our keys to success has been knowing how to look after our drivers, which has enabled the creation of long-lasting relationships and why they stay with us. We make sure we have all the right information in order to offer drivers the best service during assignments, leaving them in control of when and where they wish to work.

We take the time to get to know you, so that we understand the type of driving jobs you like, your working pattern preferences and your driving capabilities, allowing you to drive when it suits you. We would only offer you work when it was safe for us to do so; we ensure that you meet compliance requirements at all times. We do not bother you when you have told us that you are unavailable.  We can pay you weekly or monthly, the choice is yours but we’ll always ensure you are paid on time.

Our company’s foundation was built to ensure that compliance comes first in order to maximise safety. Our internal structure mirrors our commitment to driver safety and compliance. We have an internal Compliance Manager, who holds their Transport Manager CPC.  Our software DRS, ensures you are never illegally assigned to shifts.

As a professional driver you need to complete 35 hours of training every five years to retain your Driver CPC. Employ. We have partnered with Road Skills Online so our drivers can access a range of online training.

The Drivers’ Professional Development Plan (PDP), consists of monthly CPD accredited Toolbox Talks, has been created by specialists in commercial transport to help drivers think better, drive well, control costs and contribute to public safety. Road Skills Online offers bite-sized e-learning to our drivers which ensures drivers receive regular, consistent and relevant reminders of their responsibilities. We have arrange 24/7 legal assistance service for our drivers with LMP Legal who ensure any of our drivers involved in a police attended/blue light attended collision will be offered immediate legal support. A driver is at their most vulnerable in the immediate aftermath of something so traumatic as a serious road traffic incident that they are liable to say anything, even if it isn’t at all accurate.
