Employ Appointed as Ambassadors for National Bridge Strike Prevention Campaign
Last week we shared the news that Employ, alongside Driver Require, has been appointed by Road Skills Online as an ambassador for the national Destination Zero Bridge Strike campaign.
This 12‑month initiative brings together operators, agencies and training providers with one shared goal: to reduce bridge strikes across the HGV sector and make UK roads safer.
Our team recently took part in a roundtable discussion at the Road Transport Expo, supported by Senior Traffic Commissioner Kevin Rooney, where the campaign was officially launched. Being selected as one of only two recruitment agencies to contribute to these discussions is a privilege and reflects our position as industry leaders in compliance.
The campaign fits perfectly with our culture of continuous improvement and our On the Road to Better Safety programme, which includes a wide range of initiatives to raise standards across the sector. From driver training and compliance support to wellbeing and safety communications, we are committed to improving safety standards for drivers, clients and the communities we serve.
Over the next 12 months, we will be working alongside other industry partners to share best practice, raise awareness and support initiatives aimed at preventing bridge strikes.
Together, we can reduce incidents and make a real difference to road safety.
