Employ Recruitment were the winners of Demonstrating High Standards in Recruitment Award at the Recruitment & Employment Confederation’s 14th annual REC Awards 2023.
The REC Awards celebrate the best in UK recruitment, showcasing the work of brilliant recruiters from across the industry from agency to in-house and from start-ups to multi-nationals. REC’s role is to drive standards and empower recruiters to be brilliant and the annual REC Awards celebrate those that hit and exceed these standards. In all, 50 individual and 77 company entries were shortlisted across 19 categories. The winners were announced at the REC Awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 23 November 2023.
For the Demonstrating High Standards in Compliance award the judges were looking for a recruitment agency who can demonstrate not only good compliance, but a demonstrable way of working which drives high standards in recruitment. The judges were looking for a champion that constantly goes the extra mile to ensure their staff deliver high levels of compliance and go the extra mile to ensure that all standards are adhered to and exceeded and can demonstrate that it has embedded high standards throughout its organisation.
As well as achieving the above the Judges also commented that they were impressed with the focus Employ Recruitment placed on compliance as primary strategic objective.

“Winners should feel immense pride because the standard of entries was very high and the judges had to make some extraordinarily tough decisions.”
