Employ Recruitment UK, the logistics recruitment specialist, has completed a new acquisition, that brings together two driver recruitment agencies that place compliance and driver wellbeing at the centre of what they do. Employ Recruitment, based in the Midlands, but with national reach, has acquired Andover-based Drivers Relief! recruitment agency, strengthening their client base and coverage.
Since 1987, Drivers Relief! has supported clients in Andover, Amesbury and Salisbury with their supply driver needs. As a family-run, established recruitment agency, with an excellent reputation for its reliability and quality drivers, many clients have utilised their service for 35 years. Equally, Drivers Relief! has noteworthy driver retention rates with drivers working for them for well over 10 years and some from its very start. This has allowed drivers who have stayed with Drivers Relief! to share their in-depth knowledge and experience with those new to the agency.
As well as ensuring a good source of quality drivers, it is Drivers Relief! compliance processes and monitoring, that attracted Employ to the acquisition. Both agencies place compliance at the centre of what they do and ensure that accident, infringement, and incident rates are monitored. Employ and Drivers Relief! each use Driver Recruitment Software (DRS) which manages temporary driver recruitment that has all legislation built in, ensuring 100% compliance to manage such things as Working Time Directive and EU Drivers’ Hours.
Following the acquisition, the Drivers Relief! team including current Managing Director Jamie Stamp, son of founding director Fiona Stamp, will remain within the business.
