HGV Class 1 Drivers – Matlock

Please note this is a perm role we recruit them they run 12 weeks through us on a temp to perm then over to a perm contract

Employ Recruitment are recruiting for permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers Monday to Friday based in Matlock These roles are full-time permanent positions, with a 12-week temp-to-perm onboarding period before moving onto the client’s payroll.

Pay Rates

• Class 1
• Monday-Friday £16.79 first 12 weeks then £17.39 once permanent
• Overtime rates after 55 hrs:
• Monday to Friday – £25.19 → £26.08 once permanent
• Saturday: £25.18 first 5 hrs / £33.58 any hours after 5 → £26.08 / £34.78 once permanent
• The Role
• Monday to Friday
• Class 1 powder tanker (No tanker experience required)
• Deliveries to industrial and manufacturing sites
• Average shifts: 10–12 hours
• Training provided where required

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence
• Minimum 1 year experience
